Mila is a 23-year-old fashion design student at University of Brighton, specialising in both menswear and womenswear. Her practice is rooted in sustainability, with a strong focus on reworking discarded materials into emotionally driven garments. Her final collection was created predominantly from three used dust sheets gifted by her brother, transforming overlooked fabrics into pieces rich with personal narrative. Through storytelling and material ritualisation, Mila approaches fashion as a process of creative healing, channelling past experiences and trauma into present-day emotion. Her work explores memory, identity, and renewal, creating collections that are both deeply personal and socially conscious.
